Factory workers– They are also receiving below the minimum wages.

Ans.

  • They can manage cheap labour in India.
  • They can spend the least on housing facilities for workers.
  • They can cut cost by providing lower working conditions such as lower safety measures.

Ans. No, 37 years later people are still fighting for safe drinking water, for health care facilities and jobs for the people.

  • Law enforcement means that the provisions of the law must be implemented.
  • The government is responsible for this.
  • Enforcement of law is important because in case any law is not enforced or weakly enforced, there may occur serious disaster or incident.

Ans. The source of environmental pollution in our area-

a) Air- transport vehicles and factories emitting more hazardous gases.

b) water- disposal of factories waste in river, Throwing of garbage in river.

c) Soil- The industrial waste that contains dangerous chemicals affects the soil.
